Golf cart rentals on Anna Maria Island run from about $74 a day for a four-seater to $350 a day at the top of the market, based on the published rates of the operators listed on CartBooker as of late August 2026. Six-seaters span roughly $80 to $236 a day, and weekly totals range from $390 to $820 depending on cart size. Those are observed ranges across the whole island market — not one company's price list — and this page explains where inside the range you're likely to land and why.

Where these numbers come from

CartBooker lists the golf cart operators serving Anna Maria Island in one place — 35 companies with 62 carts catalogued at the time of writing, 28 of them with a published rate we could record. The figures below are the low and high ends of what those operators publish, collected and re-checked between August 11 and August 29, 2026. We show ranges rather than averages on purpose: a single "going rate" would flatten real differences between a basic electric four-seater and a lifted, street-legal eight-passenger cart, and it isn't our place to tell any operator what their cart "should" cost.

A few notes on reading the table honestly:

• The wide 4-seater range is real. The $74 end is a standard electric cart; the top end is a premium street-legal model from an operator that prices for a luxury fleet. Most of the market sits well inside the extremes.
• 2-seaters are rare on the island — only a couple of operators list one — so treat that line as a data point, not a market.
• Weekly is where the value is. Across sizes, a seven-night total generally works out meaningfully cheaper per day than the one-day rate. If you're staying a week, compare weekly totals, not daily rates multiplied by seven.

Street-legal (LSV) vs. standard carts

Anna Maria Island is one of the few places in Florida where a golf cart is genuinely the better vehicle — the whole island is 25 mph, so a street-legal cart can go everywhere a car can. If a listing isn't marked street-legal, ask the operator where you're allowed to drive it before you book; the answer changes what the cart is worth to you.

Gas versus electric matters less than people expect on AMI — observed gas carts ran $85 to $236 a day and electric $74 to $350 — but gas models tend to sit in bigger seat classes, and range anxiety isn't really a thing on a seven-mile island.

What's usually included — and what to check

• Delivery: just over half of the priced listings include free delivery to your rental, and the rest publish a delivery fee up front. On CartBooker each listing states which it is, on the operator's own terms.
• Minimum stays: some operators — especially those built around weekly guests — don't rent by the single day at all. Their listings show a nightly minimum next to the price; a "from" per-day figure on those is the bundle price divided out, so there are no surprises at checkout.
• Deposits and cancellation: each operator sets their own deposit and cancellation window, shown on the listing. On CartBooker the listed price is what you pay — there are no booking fees added on top.

When prices move

Late February through April (spring break and Easter) and the winter snowbird season are the island's peak; that's when the top of each range gets exercised and the popular 6-seaters book out first. Late summer and fall are the soft season, when the bottom of the range is realistic and same-week availability is normal. If your dates are fixed and in season, booking weeks ahead matters more than negotiating.
