How CartBooker listings work
How operators get included
CartBooker aims to list every golf cart rental operator on Florida's Gulf Coast — not a pay-to-play selection. Listings start from publicly available business information: the operator's own website, published rate pages, and public directory listings. Each collected fact is stored with its source and collection date, and every unclaimed listing shows when its information was gathered.
Claimed vs. unclaimed listings
An unclaimed listing was created by CartBooker and has not been reviewed by the business it describes. It carries a prominent notice, shows the operator's own website and phone number for direct contact, and can't be booked through CartBooker. A claimed listing is managed by the operator — they control their details, photos, pricing and availability. Claiming is free: claim your listing here. Any operator can report incorrect information or request removal from the listing page itself.
How prices work
Unclaimed listings may show a single indicative rate — a price observed on the operator's own published pricing, labeled with when it was observed (“observed August 2026 — confirm with operator”). It's a starting point, not a quote. “Pricing on request” means the operator doesn't publish rates. Claimed operators set their own live prices, and the price you see is the price you pay — CartBooker never adds a guest booking fee.
Service areas
An operator appears under a destination when their published service or delivery area covers it. Many operators are based on one island and deliver to several — cards say “Based on X · serves Y” where that's the case. Service areas on unclaimed listings come from the operator's own published information and can change; confirm delivery to your address when you book.
Request availability vs. Instant Book
Request availability sends your dates to the operator, who confirms directly — for unclaimed listings the fastest path is always contacting the operator through their own website or phone number, shown on the listing. Instant Book (claimed operators who enable it) confirms your booking immediately at checkout. For request-to-book with online payment, your card is only charged when the operator accepts.
How CartBooker makes money
Listings are free, for everyone, always. When a claimed operator takes a booking through CartBooker, the operator pays a flat 10% commission on the rental subtotal. Guests never pay a booking fee, operators pay nothing for walk-ins or bookings from their own channels, and commission never affects how operators are ordered or labeled — there are no paid placements, and rankings carry no sponsored results. CartBooker may editorially mark an operator as “Featured”; featured placement is chosen by our team and is never sold.
Reviews and badges
CartBooker shows only reviews collected from guests who booked through the platform — never imported or third-party review scores. Unclaimed listings show no ratings at all. The “Verified” badge is granted by CartBooker after vetting, never self-assigned and never sold.
