If your address is on Palmetto Blvd make sure you are not on the inaccessible list below. Also, rented golf carts may not be driven to or stored on properties inside the main entrance of the Wyndham Resort. If you are staying in a Wyndham property please be aware the only areas that permit Golf carts are The Villages, Marsh Point, Bay Point, South Point and Beach Walk. Driving in Edisto Beach
- Golf carts need SCDMV permit and Edisto Beach decal.
- Carts can only be driven during daylight hours.
- LSVs can be driven after dark on roads 35 mph or less.
- Operators must be 16+ with a valid driver's license.
- Children under 12 must be belted or in a child restraint.
