• Sarasota County has not designated Siesta Key streets for plain golf carts (County Code ch. 122), so a street-legal LSV is the practical rental here.
• LSVs may use Siesta streets posted 35 mph or less (Fla. Stat. § 316.2122) — check posted limits, especially south along Midnight Pass Road.
• The Stickney Point and Siesta Drive bridges are LSV territory at most — confirm posted limits and your operator's terms; plain carts may not use them.
• No driving on the beach.
• Most operators require drivers 21+ with a valid licence — an operator policy, not a statute; an LSV always needs a licensed driver (Fla. Stat. § 316.2122).
